A few real, useful details are better than lots of unrelated information. AI can introduce fictional scenes, so do not treat a gift book as a factual biography.

GoHippo uses AI to create personalized cover artwork and, for comics, illustrations from your brief and any suitable reference photos. AI likeness and lettering can vary. Check the cover, names and preview before ordering; an example image is an illustration of the style, not a promise of an identical result.

Yes. The creation flow lets you review the available concept, title, cover and representative content preview before checkout. A prose preview is a sample, and a comic preview shows sample comic content; neither is the complete finished book. Full-book production follows payment, so later pages will contain additional content.

Yes. Go back in the creator to adjust your answers and available creative choices. Changing the brief, concept or cover can make the previous preview out of date, so generate and review an updated preview before continuing to checkout.

Read any on-screen error and use the available retry or edit action. Check that required answers are complete and your photo meets the guidance. If the problem continues, email contact@gohippo.com with your project or order reference and a description of the issue. Do not place repeated payments to try to fix a generation problem.

The Canada store uses Canadian Dollar (CAD). Review the currency and final total at checkout. A payment provider or card issuer may apply its own conversion fees if your account uses another currency.

These are estimates, not a guaranteed arrival date; production queries, carrier delays and busy periods can affect timing.

Because each book is made to order, whether we can change the content, address or cancel depends on its production status. Changes cannot be guaranteed once printing or dispatch has started.
