These template Terms explain the rules for using GoHippo and ordering personalised AI books, comics, and related gift products.

1. About GoHippo

GoHippo provides personalised AI-generated books, comics, previews, digital files, and related gift products. The service lets customers provide details about a recipient so GoHippo can create a custom gift concept and, where purchased, a printed or digital product.

These Terms apply when you browse the website, create a project, upload content, place an order, or otherwise use GoHippo.

2. Your Content and Permissions

You are responsible for the names, photos, prompts, memories, descriptions, and other information you submit. You must have the rights and permission needed to upload and use any supplied photos, likenesses, personal details, quotes, and stories.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, invasive of privacy, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful. GoHippo may refuse, moderate, edit, or remove content where needed to protect people, comply with law, or keep the product safe.

3. AI-Generated Output

GoHippo uses automated and AI-assisted tools to generate creative text, images, previews, and book concepts. AI output can be imperfect, inaccurate, misspelled, stylised, or unexpected.

You should review previews and order details before purchase. If something important is wrong, contact us at contact@gohippo.com so we can help where the current product workflow allows.

4. Orders, Payment, and Pricing

Prices, currencies, taxes, delivery options, and available formats are shown in the checkout flow for the selected country or market. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal.

Do not attempt to manipulate prices, quantities, checkout sessions, discount logic, or payment requests. Orders may be cancelled if checkout data is invalid, incomplete, fraudulent, or inconsistent with the confirmed order.

5. Personalised Products, Changes, and Cancellations

Because GoHippo products are personalised, changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has started. If you notice an issue, contact us as quickly as possible at contact@gohippo.com with your order ID.

Where a product is damaged, missing, materially defective, or not supplied as ordered, we will review the issue and guide the available replacement, correction, or refund path.

6. Intellectual Property

GoHippo owns or licenses the website, templates, branding, software, layouts, prompts, generation workflows, and design systems used to provide the service.

You keep any rights you already have in the materials you submit. By submitting content, you grant GoHippo the permission needed to process, generate, preview, print, fulfil, support, and improve your order.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep GoHippo available and reliable, but the service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, provider outages, or operational reasons.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, formats, templates, or integrations from time to time.

8. Liability

GoHippo is provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer rights.
